News / Cash surplus was 8.7% of GDP in January-June, 2006. |  | Russia's cash surplus totaled Rub 1.26 tln ($47.12 bln), or 8.7% of GDP in H106, revenues stood at Rub 3.46 tln ($129.39 bln), or 92.7% of approved M906 receipts breakdown, financing equaled Rub 2.97 tln ($111.1 bln) (88.5% of expenditure breakdown) of which Rub 2. 20 tln ($82.27 bln) (84.9%) was cash expenditures. GDP amounted to Rub 14.45 tln ($540.39 bln), while the primary surplus was Rub 1.347 tln ($50.37 bln), MinFin reported in a press release quoting preliminary M706 budget execution estimates.
